I can’t recommend Lindsey more for your birth! She was so supportive throughout my pregnancy putting me at ease. She is a wealth of knowledge and always provided me with the right information and great specialist contacts. I ended up having an unexpected c section and she made sure to support both my fiancé and myself during and afterwards. Lindsey goes above and beyond, she’ll be the best support for your pregnancy - no matter your birthing preference.

Lindsey is amazing at what she does and I cannot recommend her enough! I had fears and anxiety over giving birth, but she was able to provide resources and answer questions that alleviated a lot of my concerns. Her support during our son’s birth was truly invaluable for both myself and my husband. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. And beyond the support, I am so grateful that she was there to photograph the birth. If I’m being honest, I didn’t think I would love the photos as much as I do!
As a first time mother, I didn’t know what a doula was, nor why I would need one. I discovered Lindsey on Instagram, right when COVID-19 turned our world upside down. Hiring her officially was just not in the cards, and I ended up having a three week antepartum stay and a preterm birth. I was terrified and just didn’t know what I was doing as we hadn’t been able to go to any prenatal classes. I reached out to Lindsey, and like the Angel she is, she gave me SO much encouragement and advice. I owe her my sanity, and the fact she did this out of the kindness of her heart? Gold star service. I so wish she had been able to be there to support me in person, but this was the next best thing. Any friends who have become pregnant, or may in the future, have and will be getting her name sent their way! In addition, if my husband and I do choose to have another little one, Lindsey will be the second call I make after my ob/gyn. She is worth everything!
I can't say enough good things about Lindsey and adora birth wellness doula services! Lindsey makes herself accessible day and night to her clients, and her attention to detail is second to none... she does all the little things right to ensure you have the best possible birthing experience. On top of all that, we got family and newborn photos done the week after our second daughter's birth, and WOW we were amazed. She managed to capture our family perfectly (and I've got a 2 year old!).
I was reflecting on my experience with having Lindsey as a Doula and I have to be honest, our birth happened so quickly and was a blur but what I remember most is her calm presence watching from the bathroom door frame. She was exactly where I wanted her - there for my husband, who in turn was there for me for every single moment (poor guy lol!). But guys, THE PICTURES! I never imagined how special those could be . She captured moments that I barely knew even happened. Her biggest impact on me though, was her support afterwards. She was always there with an uplifting message when things felt so hard. THANK YOU LINDSEY!!
When we first met Lindsey we knew we would be a great fit! She had a warm smile, a positive and encouraging attitude as well as a wealth of baby knowledge. As first time parents, we felt confident and secure with her immediately. Lindsey displayed professionalism at all times and was always available to us when we needed her. She listened to our concerns and helped us make informed decisions based on our own comfort level. Lindsey went the extra mile to make sure we knew our choices in all areas of baby care (e.g., from car seat safety to labour and delivery choices as well as postpartum follow up) We definitely recommend Lindsey to any expecting family. Lindsey at adora birth wellness helped change my birth story from one of fear and anxiety to calm assuredness! I went from letting her know I would be having a fairly normal vaginal delivery to an emergency C-section. With a day's notice, she was able to mobilize, get me a hospital kit, even get some snacks for my husband and mentally prepare me for a 33 week delivery with a premature baby. As a doula, she was supportive, optimistic and knowledgeable, urging me to ask the right questions of my nurses and doctors, considering I had only a short period of time to fully assimilate the situation. Her hospital list allowed my husband to put together my hospital bag! She was able to support my husband as he went from waiting rooms to the OR to the NICU, even getting some wonderful pictures of our first moments with our first baby. Hospital staff tend to be a little cold towards outside help, but Lindsey is such a warm person, your hospital staff will definitely see her as a support working on tandem with them. We highly recommend her services, you will be more than satisfied to have her in your corner!
