This was such a great way to get outside and enjoy nature without all the work of camping. My husband and I travelled here for a night away. We went in the dead of winter when it was -14 and still stayed cozy and warm in bed. The owners were lovely and very accommodating and breakfast was a nice treat. It's so close to Toronto which was really nice too. Things to think about before you book: ️-The washrooms were a bit of a walk away from the yurt. So if you pee a lot at night you may not want to hydrate as much. ️ -We were on a forested part of a farm which was lovely. There are 3 yurts in total and we didn’t see the other guests but likely in the fall or summer you may see more of the other guests. So you’re not totally secluded ️ -There was a busy road at the edge of the property so you could hear trucks driving by and air breaking very loudly down the hill in the Morning. Due to the price I wouldn't likely come here regularly as it is pricey but it would be a great once in a while experience. We had a lovely couples get away and it would be a fun friends trip.

I was there from March 1st to March 3rd with my boyfriend. We were there during the coldest/windiest night of the entire winter season so far and we honestly didn't feel that when we were inside the tent. The tent was so cozy. There was so much heat/warmth radiating from every corner: the wood-stove fireplace with the endless supply of wood, the propane heater and the heated mattress. When the propane tank started to run out, Aimee was so quick and helpful in replacing the tank. In addition to that, the whole entire vibe was just so immaculate. The glamping tent was super home-y, the service was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, the shower was perfect, all whilst being in the middle of a farm family compound where there were an abundance of animals. We were so lucky to be there during the time we went because there were new-born goats on site. We got to hang out with the donkey and horses too! :) There was also a beautiful antique outdoor library right outside of our tent which was really cool. There is a BBQ outside but because it was so cold and we were so lazy, we ordered in through DoorDash and had no issues with delivery or couriers finding the site. Overall, it was a perfect getaway and we will most definitely be planning another weekend in the summer! :) Thanks Aimee for everything!

Unreal glamping experience - such a nice escape not far outside the city, we go once a year with our dogs and love it! They bring you breakfast to your tent every morning - fresh eggs from the farm, fruit, pastries, coffee or tea ! The decor is rustic and creative. They do a lot of DIY decor. The farm is a fun place to walk around and explore. They have a lot of farm animals. They also have a very cute pet dog- bulldog mix

Just checked in and felt the urge to write a review ASAP. We are over the moon. This place is so cute and so well kept. It was night when we checked in and we were greeted by Amy and a beautifully lit path to our already heated tent. The ambiance is so nice, everything is clean (including the outdoor space). Happy we booked and will be enjoying ourselves by the fire with a glass of wine over the next couple days. Looking forward to our breakfast delivery and hot cup of coffee in the AM. We will be booking again!

We were very excited and optimistic for our stay! The host was very kind and gracious when we arrived. Overall, the place was beautiful and we couldn't wait to explore. However, our 2 night stay quickly turned into half of 1 night. While we were drifting off to sleep we began hearing noises, which we assumed was from outside. Unfortunately for us, a mouse had decided to join us. We tried to scare it, but it only continued to come back. We would have loved to stay and ignore it, but feared the possibility of getting into our food and quite honestly trying to sleep with a mouse scurrying, chewing etc. is unsettling. We packed up and left shortly after. We hoped that we would have at least received a refund for the 1 night we did not stay, but "they can't control nature", which I completely understand. However, a disclosure that small creatures can easily get into the living space would have been appreciated prior to. We would have also appreciated empathy or understanding of the situation. In most scenarios where you are booking a place to sleep, rodents are not usually acceptable.

Stayed with my wife in the platinum suite. Very private and placed in the middle of a stunning maple orchard. Must see for fall leaves. Staff were kind and attentive, took a great deal of care with their guests and the farms animals. Wood stove worked great and had a backup propane one if needed, no trouble for the cooler weather. Only negative would be that highway 10 is a few hundred yards away with little tree cover, personally it wasn't a bother but those who sleep lightly bring earplugs so as not to miss this great stay.

My husband and I had an amazing glamping experience at copper retreat. The ambience of being nestled in the forest, immersed in nature and surrounded by animals was magical. We woke up to a continental breakfast that consisted of our favourite pastries, fruit, farm fresh eggs and maple syrup. Our stay was just shy of being perfect and here are a few reasons why. The farm tour and animal meet and greet that was promised on the website and included in the price was not given to us. I expressed my interest to the host but arrangements were never made. It was super cold in the tent which had my husband up all night stoking the fire. I feel like a few more propane heaters would have done the trick along with a tent zipper that wasn’t broken and letting in brisk air. I was also super excited to take an outdoor winter bath after seeing so many people rave about it on Instagram. Unfortunately upon arrival, we learned that the bath and shower was not in service (something that should have been deducted from the price since it was an amenity). Lastly, when I was booking online, I was encouraged to let the host know if I was celebrating a special occasion. I had expressed that this was for my two year anniversary and that we had recently lost our home to a devastating fire. I was anticipating a care package or an intimate touch but there was nothing of the sort. Overall, this was a winter wonderland and something I’ll cherish for years to come. With a few adjustments and improvements in service this could be a 5 star accommodation.
