Tried to review a CX504 double drum sander directly but because I purchased it in the store, the website would not let me. Perhaps it was just the machine I bought but the balance weights came off the drums and as a result it would chuck the sandpaper immediately after installing it. The sandpaper was also destroyed in the process. The manager told me I should use a bungee cord to keep the wrap tight. He tried to demo his solution but could not do it. They did after initially stating they would not, give me my money back. They refused to refund the 125 dollars in sandpaper the machine destroyed. A second machine was demonstrated in the store but it did the same thing. (At least it was their sandpaper this time). Luckily Found an old house of tools machine at a garage sale and it works perfectly. This is only a portion of my poor experience with this store. Fortunately there are other vendors nearby that sell the same items. As always whoever replies to this will get the last word. They can have it. The manager knows the truth.

Please consider shopping elsewhere! Went in to see a thickness planer and salesman seemed like he didn’t want my business. Got the impression that he felt it wasn’t a store for women, but I asked questions he couldn’t answer. Did my research then went back to order as they don’t keep them in stock and I paid in full. Arrived two weeks(ish) later. I called them and they explained a bit of a mix up in the back and someone nearly sold my planer. I asked them to please put my name on it or a ‘sold’ sign on it, but they explained there was no need as it was on the ‘hold’ shelf. Two days later I got a call, my planer was in (not sure they’ve got a handle on their procedures). I explained I was picking it up with my husband on the Saturday so he could visit the store. Got a call on the Friday, they no longer had my planer, some employee sold it to a walk in customer even though it was on the ‘hold’ shelf. I was livid! I had to order it because they don’t stock it and then an employee took it off the hold shelf and sold it to a ‘walk in’ when I had to wait over 2 weeks and I had paid. Then they tell me the next shipment isn’t until mid August, over 2 weeks away! Are you kidding me!! I went in the next business day and demanded a refund. You think the manager would’ve called to apologize for their mistakes but I guess he didn’t want my future business either. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Well, my wife and I finally checked out this store. I can honestly say that we loved it. There prices are pretty competitive to any other place I have shopped for tools and woodworking accessories. I have finally found a place where I can buy Titebond glue so that alone will keep me going back there. Keep an eye on their flyers, it is well worth it.
Helpful and knowledgeable people, I've also been told that my business is appreciated. Support local businesses when you can!
This place is a joke. First I called on Nov 26,2020 and asked are you open ? YES the person said. I drive in from Leduc County doors locked. Called again this time I asked why the doors were locked.. O where are only open for curb side pic-up.. LOL so I went to KMS Tools 2 blocks away and bought my tools their.. GET WOKE GO BROKE Busy Bee.. !! I will never shop here again..
