Horrible customer service. The branch manger has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in a bank. If you’re not gonna help me why waste my time? I was redirected three times for an issue in my account. The branch manager didn’t express any empathy but showed unprofessionalism and impatience and even walked away from the conversation.

It would be very nice if the opening times where friendlier to 9-5 workers. It would be nice to see some afternoon and early evening opening times.
This branch is only open until 3 pm and not at weekends. Any other branch puts a one week hold on my biweekly work cheque no matter how many months after months go by of me bringing the same cheque’s from my same work place. You can not call and talk to anyone at the branch, it always transfers to their national hotline. They refuse to help over the phone. All I want to do is deposit my cheque which has never been an issue with my previous bank or for anyone I know with any other bank. There is no email to contact any branch at scotiabank. Not one scotiabank employee I have managed to talk to has made any effort whatsoever to solve any issue. I will be going back to a credit union soon. Save the headache and do the same.
Hours are absolutely ridiculous! How can they expect working people to bank with them. Closing all accounts and switching to another bank because of this.
Closing at three o’clock every day is completely unreasonable. The banks are hiding behind covid to give bad service and this one closing an hour before all other banks in the area !
