I've been seeing Elna and the Optimal Clinic staff for the last five years and throughout those years I have also received treatment from other clinics that simply do not compare. For starters Elna creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for her patients and I feel comfortable talking about just about anything with her. As an ex-athlete, she can relate to what you are experiencing and with her countless years of experience treating top athletes in the world, including NFL and track and field to name a few, she really does know what it takes to get you back to your best. I come out of my appointments feeling much better than before, but I can also say that I come out more knowledgeable because Elna teaches me about the issues taking place as well. I trust Elna fully and no matter what reason you are seeking treatment for, I can guarantee she will find you results. Thanks again to Elna and the Optimal Clinic staff :)

Dr Aidan Genik and Dr. Elna Johnson are amazing. I have been treated at their clinic for a long standing hip issue (as well as a more recent ICBC soft tissue claim) and their treatments have always been excellent. I have experienced significant improvements in range of motion and decreased pain through active release with Aidan. I highly recommend them both to my network of friends and family, as well as to my professional legal and insurer network!

Very happy with my 3-4 visits here and seeing Dr.Elna Johnson and Dr.Aiden. I came in with a difficult, and tough-to-understand knee injury, and they did their best to treat it; along with giving me corrective exercises to do at home which have helped. They know their stuff and I felt really cared for as an amateur runner. This is easily going to be my go to physio clinic in Vancouver. Dr. Elna is a very intelligent and inquisitive person. She is also very fair with treatment prices, and when I got my gait analysis.

By far the best compared to many others I have visited. The key differentiators: it’s one on one service and their goal is to fix you up ASAP so you don’t have to keep on seeing them week after week. For physio, most places do a quick diagnosis, hook you up to to a TENS machine and have you do a few exercises on your own. These while the person treats two to four other patients simultaneously. At Optimal, the person works with you the full time. No muscle stimulating machine, just pure direct work on your body. The attitude there is if you don’t need to come back then they send you in your way with best wishes. While they charge a bit more for this level of service, it’s well worth it in the long run since the number of repeat visits will be less than going to other places, not to mention you’ll feel better faster!

I had been to Optimal a few times now to see Chris for physiotherapy and it was great. I felt like Optimal was really invested in my health. As they are moving the clinic and both of the practitioners I liked no longer will be practicing there, I have opted to edit my review accordingly.
