For parents who are seeking for the best after-school Mathematics/ English program, we highly recommend Kumon at Kensington Square. This program has helped our child gain confidence and improve his performance and grades at school. Plus, the instructor and all the staff at this location are extremely caring, friendly, supportive, and dedicated to student learning. You will always feel welcomed here! They are very kind and responsible. Always showing an exemplary customer service. During the pandemic, they were quick to adapt to online learning without compromising the quality of the service. My daughter has been with Kumon on Kensington for 4.5 years. She started with Math and English, now she's only in Math. At the end of her grade 8, she passed a test at school and next year she'll be in grade 10 math. She is skipping grade 9 math all together. She was definitely able to build a strong math understanding because of her studies at Kumon.
We enrolled our first child into Kumon Math after we discovered that she was unable to add 11 in grade 2. She's in grade 6 now and her math level is well above her classmates and she is currently learning algebra. We also enrolled her into Kumon Reading and it has significantly helped her as well. I have personally been through the Kumon program, Sylvan learning and various tutors in the past. Kumon, in my opinion has been the most beneficial program through my years of education. As for this centre, they have enhanced covid19 safety protocols. Mask are mandatory, temperature checks upon entry, hand sanitizer readily available, and social distancing between students. They put the public schools to shame. If you are thinking about enrolling your kids into Kumon, the centre will advise you that it would take a minimum of a year before you see results. That statement is true. Long story short, Kumon is worth every penny and our second child will be registering for Kumon when she reaches Kumon's minimum age requirements.
My daughter had been in this centre since the opening. She had been at Kumon program since she is 3 years old, it's really a good program in building foundation in both math and reading. We would highly recommend this centre (Kensington), staff are very friendly and professional.
My wife and I are quite pleased with the Kumon program in general and specifically with the Kensington location. Our older son went thru the Math program for 5 years and our younger son is in his 6th year of the Math program. The process has helped both of them with Mathematics and with their focus and approach to learning.
