This escape room is particularly quiet, you can never expect a crowd even on the weekends. I guess there are multiple reasons for that: 1. Location. It's in deep Burnaby as opposed to the majority of the escape rooms (Richmond, East Van). 2. It is very pricy. They charge 50 for a room. For 2 people the price should be less. 3. They are not advertised anywhere. A Groupon deal would boost their traffic. They have 4 rooms available. We did Alice In Wonderland. It was super easy (we finished it within 25 minutes), but the riddles were exciting and the logic was flawless. Will visit it again.

I would not recommend doing Candy Factory if you have ever done an escape room before. I have done some very fun and challenging rooms but this isn’t that. The employee working was very kind however he gave us too many hints without us asking for them, for example he told us exactly how to start and what to do in order for us to advance, we would have preferred a more “do it yourself” style. Also, the battery of the flashlight had not been replaced and it died on us. Many people say that this room is much too easy and I believe that it should be advertised as a room that is for beginners and children only. Had we known that the room would be so easy, although the website says “average”, we would for sure have picked a harder room! Also, the room itself seemed like each of the puzzles had no connection to each other, creating a very robotic like strategy of just knowing what to do and when rather than thinking and using in-room clues. We were a group of four and many times at least one of us was standing around with nothing to do. Knowing now that the room was for beginners, we understand why it was so easy but we hope that this review will persuade the owner and staff to advertise it as much easier than most rooms. Thanks

The boys in my youth group came to krakit for a dudes event one night and really enjoyed it. They did wanderland and candy factory. I have now brought my whole youth group back. They are running three rooms at the same time for us and the customer service is over and above. I like that they have "scary" and "non-scary" options. We were happy. The only thing I don't love are all the zombie babies in the waiting room. :)

Recently went here with a group of friends for a birthday party and we played The Cabin theme, it was amazing! The mechanics of the room and the plot were flawless as well as the customer service, Alex was an amazing helper and he gave us an awesome experience throughout the visit. He made us feel comfortable enough to even have a chit-chat at the end just to get to know him. Just based on the game, I would come back; but especially for Alex. I cant express what a good night Krakit and Alex gave us, 10/10!

We did deathtrap escape room today and had a great time. Parking is available in the front. The front staff was exceptional and the game had lots of locks to open which we really enjoyed. There were just two of us and we didn't make the 45 minute time but he let us finish and we did escape. Will definitely go back and do another room. Highly recommend.

Two times here with big groups. So much fun, great puzzles, and the customer service is stupendous. Highly recommended, and take advantage of their deals! They were flexible, enthusiastic, and really encouraging. Will come back again!

We had so much fun. The escape room has live actors and challenging yet doable themes. Loved it

We did Candy Factory. What a disappointment. We are avid escape artists, and this is a flop. The front desk guy came in to our room to “fix” something before we had even escaped! We also needed to use a clue just to have the guy come trigger a machine. I can see how this used to be good, but some of the puzzles were clunky, over used, and need some love. For amateurs, or first timers, this wouldn’t be bad. But don’t let this place determine your experience of escape rooms!! There are far greater, second generation rooms that will blow your mind. In the end we got out with 15 mins to spare, and there was no one to be seen so we just let ourselves out. Staffing needs a major overhaul. These are supposed to be fun, not lifeless.
