I like this little hole in the wall tofu shop! I came here to buy the tofu pudding and the small size only cost 2 and it’s available on Tuesday/Thursday/Fri/Sat/Sun. Being your cash and just point at the signs if there’s any language issues
We walked around Crystal Mall and discovered them selling tofu pudding for only 2. The portion was very big, freshly made, and hot. You can choose between sweet or salty flavour and it has a great ginger taste which I love.
Whenever we are at the Crystal Mall, we always check to see if Healthy Soyfoods has the tofu pudding available. The freshly made, and piping hot tofu pudding is second to none. They offer the sweet and the salty version, depending on the sauce you select. The sweet (brown sugar and ginger) is my favourite, by far. For a toonie, it's a slice of tofu dessert heaven.
Fresh made Hot Tofu Pudding (Only available on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday), Sweet or Shanghai Style. Since thay are so famous and you need to prepare for long line up. In addition to their famous soya products, don't miss the black sesame dessert. Yummy !
Their fresh and locally made tofu pudding in large steel vats ready to be scooped into bowls to order usually draws a line-up at the front of the store. While difficult to predict availability, it was told not to be available on Mondays and Thursdays. They also carry a large assortment of mainly soy products as dry beans, bottled drinks as well as packaged for cooking at reasonable prices.
