First time I used Glass Doctor - our family has a number of apartments and will used this supplier for window glass repairs in the near future. They were very friendly, gave me advice on the window and cost expectations, gave me a few text updates and accurate finish date.
I called the Glass Doctor to order a replacement piece for my coffee table. Initially the customer service rep was very friendly - she asked me her list of questions in order to get a quote which initially looked good. unfortunately she forgot to ask me a measurement and they \assumed\ a measurement when cutting a piece of glass. I was surprised when I picked it up because it was not at all what I was looking for. After I was not in a position to buy anything the service turned from friendly to unprofessional and blameful, the first call I received from a lady representative was how it was my fault. The manager continuously insisted they did everything right on their end and kept negotiating with me to help cover their costs which I didn't feel at all responsible for. I explained that I am not a glass professional and I paid them for their service to provide it and they failed to and are still withholding a refund from me. Eventually they quoted me and they were 2.5x the price of everyone else local. I am sure they are good at some things but I would not go back here again after my first experience.
Customer satisfaction, with common sense advice.. Although windshield replacement commands a large part of their special skills, their technicians have been known to complete some difficult auto and RV work.
