I visited two doctors to get their opinions. First doctor recommended me to remove the toenail, and Dr.Lai wanted to go with minimal treatment which is trimming down the projected skin. Three months passed by, I am 100% satisfy with the surgery I had with Dr.Lai. It is growing new normal looking toenail. I would recommend Dr.Lai to everyone.
I had an incredible experience with Dr. Lai! I've had issues with my ingrown toenail for 5 years now, but had always been hesitant to go to a podiatrist to get it permanently fixed. Dr. Lai was extremely kind and professional as he walked me through what the procedure would be like, the possible risks, and the recovery process. He did a great job at making me feel at ease, and his surgical work throughout the process was amazing! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get a permanent solution for their ingrown toenail.
I like this guy! He's professional, polite, and funny p Brought my girlfriend here to deal with her in-grown toenails for which she's previously had multiple surgeries with long recovery times. Dr. Lai keeps up to date with advancements in podiatry which allowed him to perform a more effective 15 minute procedure as a permanent solution to the ingrown toenails. The recovery time for this procedure was also relatively short compared to the previous surgeries. Also, all of the receptionists I dealt with were courteous and professional ) Medical tip for anyone reading this: don't cut your nails in a square shape, all your nails (on your hands and feet) should follow the curvature of the skin. Also, don't cut them too short!
I have always struggled with my ingrown toe nail. I have tried almost every product and medication out there to treat it, but nothing seemed to work and the pain affected my daily activities. This all changed when I met Dr. Sunny Lai. Initially, I was afraid of this operation like many others, however, to my surprise, the procedure was very quick, very simple, and pain-free. I was even able to exercise after the procedure and all I needed to do everyday was to soak my toe, apply some cream, and cover the toe with a band-aid. Dr. Sunny Lai's operation has helped my life immensely and I am very thankful for him.
