Really great environment to learn martial arts! The instructors are really friendly and care a lot about helping you improve. Pricing is very fair, and many different classes to choose from. Would recommend to anyone looking to start learning martial arts.

A great place to get fit. Amazing teachers. I have been going for Jujitsu and Kickboxing and not only am I learning technique , but its a lot of fun. The people there are very friendly. Its great for adults and kids.
Best jiu jitsu gym in town. A very welcoming community of people who love to train. This all starts with the coaches who truly care about their students. Both coaches Mikey and Anthony run engaging and informative classes for all levels. I was only in Vancouver for a few months but in that short time, I improved A Lot and become part of the budo community. I was sad to leave, but I will be back as soon as possible.

Training JiuJitsu at Budo Martial Arts Burnaby has been a life changing experience. Michael Hansen, the owner and head instructor is encouraging and engaging. He along with the other instructors create a welcoming environment in which to train. I was a little apprehensive about starting JiuJitsu at the age of 43. Those apprehensions were very quickly assuaged by the coaches. I'm now 2 years in, and can say that JiuJitsu and Budo's coaches have set me on a path that I will pursue for life.
