A great experience with the Burlington location. I was promptly met when I pulled into a curbside pick up spot . The manager was extremely personable. I had mentioned I droe from Brantford because it was a birthday dinner for my son. My son absolutely loves their dishes. The order was ready promptly for the time I requested . The portion sizes were generous and the taste was excellent.What took this experience to the next level is the extra step the manager did. He generously provided a birthday desert for my son at no charge. That in itself was a class act and I was very touched. I thank the Burlington team from the bottom of my heart. I received a gift card for Scaddabush Restaurant and to be frank, I had never heard of them before. I was very hesitate to order from them but I visited their website to see a variety of dishes. Recently working at our real estate office in Burlington I remembered I had my gift card. I called and the lovely host indicated we could order over the phone or online whichever was more convenient for us and said online will accept the gift card, just follow the prompts. We ordered salad (so fresh), chicken sandwich and I tried the pizza (Margarita). Ordering process online was very easy, it even prompted you if you required cutlery. Our lunch was yummy and very filling. Looking forward to ordering from you again.
Because of the circumstances we are facing we decided to take our food to go for our Christmas work dinner and it was an excellent choice. I had wonderful help from Tiffany and when I arrived at the time I stated to pick my food up it was ready and the staff was very helpful. Food was excellent, huge portions. Our staff loved the food!!! Definitely do that again. Once this Covid-19 is over we would love to enjoy the food and service sitting in the restaurant. Cheers!! Thanks again.
Since Ontario is in under lockdown, we decided to support Scaddabush by ordering a curbside dinner. We chose one of the special offers which includes a salad, a pizza and two social size pastas. We also added a mozzarella ball to our order. The mozzarella, pizza and the salad were excellent, fresh and tasty as expected from previous experiences from this establishment. Unfortunately, upon trying the pasta dishes the texture surprised us. Sadly the noodles were overcooked, turning us away from finishing the dishes. Besides that, the pasta sauce was very flavourful. If not for the overcooked pasta, my rating would have been 5 stars. This is the first time that we have been disappointed with the quality of the food delivered by Scaddabush as they are our go to dinner spot. Other than that the employee who delivered our food to our car was very friendly and professional.
We had dinner on Saturday at this location. The hostess was very professional. Our waitress was nice, but not really into it! We ordered a Shirley Temple, the sprite was flat. I had to get up and go to the bar to get it fixed. The waitress came asking why I returned the drink. The other staff didn't even tell her! The food came 20 minutes later. During this 20 minutes, the waitress was no where in sight. The food was awful. You know how you eat something because you are hungry? Well this is what happened to us. In the evening we felt very uncomfortable. The salad was washed and dripping with water. It had no dressing just water. The pasta was terribly oily and awfully dry! I don't suggest eating there for the next few months, until they get their staff better prepared!
