Beautiful park less than an hour from Toronto. The trails are very scenic along the wooded forest area. It's particularly pretty during the fall season in mid October with colors in full fledge. The trails are not very long, but quite elevated. The view from the uphill is breathtaking. Amazing view of the Burlington town from the high point on the trail.

I am giving Kerncliff Park a 3 star review because it is not the most exciting park around. It does not have complex trails that offer a challange. However, it is ide for some people. If you are looking for easy trails to begin, this is a great park for you. It is also ideal for bringing young children who would appreciate an easier hike. There is a good amount of parking with a detailed map and trail guide. Pets would have no problem here as there is a lot of space to run. On my last trip I noticed a long ridge where you can get an excellent view south, towards Burlington and the lake. Definitely something worth checking out.
Puppy loves it! So many things to smell, so many sticks to bite.
We'll maintained. A nice bit of wilderness in the city. You can go on a 20 minute hike or 2 hours. Bring shoe cleats for the inevitable icy spots, especially on the steep parts.
Rolling hills of the Niagara escarpment makes for scenic views and healthy physical activity. Check the maps prior to setting out to avoid retracing your steps. Great destination for any time of the year with appropriate footwear.
