This was my first time at Jake’s and I really enjoyed it. There were so many choices for apps. We ended up going with the coconut shrimp which was delicious. We had the swordfish and the prime rib for mains and finished off with the lava cake. Oh, and I really liked their Old Fashioned!

Great seafood including fresh fish and chowder. I often get chowder with Jake's salad and a beer. Light but nutritional in a charming indoor or patio setting. Cozy.
Seafood is fresh!!! The portions are awesome! The service is beyond great. I went there for my 39th birthday and I was so impressed by everything... i have absolutely no complaints.. i live in toronto.so I traveled there just for my birthday dinner.. our waitress was very kind, sweet, hilarious and very professional. She brought out a mini cake for me with a sparkle and we never even requested it... i will definitely be returning here again and again...
I feel like we ordered our dinner on a bad night. I had heard nothing but incredible things, but our experience was not as amazing as I had hoped. We ordered dinner for 3. We ordered the amazing lobster rolls we had heard so much about, I asked if this would be enough for a dinner and was recommended to order an appetizer. We ordered calamari. This was all for take out during Covid. Amazing packaging of everything!!! The lobster rolls, 2 out of 3 were amazing. Unfortunately mine was in a burnt roll. And our calamari was super chewy. But after the roll and splitting the appetizer, that no one was thrilled about...we were still hungry. We will try the restaurant again, but look for suggestions before ordering.
Wow. Great food. One of the best steaks I had in years. Oysters were fresh and tasty. The wine were excellent. Great atmosphere, staff incredible. You can always tell a good restaurant from the cleanest of their bathrooms. The patio was clean large and friendly.
