The folks that opened this thrift store have poor morals and did not have charity in mind. Scamming their own friends and people in the community is no way to run a business let alone a charity; it was just a matter of time before they closed up shop. Farewell and good riddance. What caught up with them I wonder; the CRA, the labour board, the city or maybe it was just bad business practice that led to their demise. It's great if they are being held accountable for their behaviour but I would love to know where the money collected by this 'charity' ended up; I haven't been able to find any charitable efforts from this organization in Brockville.
