Do not allow these people to work on valuable Hifi. I took my vintage Pioneer Sx-1250 to these guys. Wasted a full day of my time by not having it ready when they said it was (drove in to pick it up from out of town). Over 500 recap job. After back pedaling that day it worked for 3 weeks. Sounded harsh. Then several components failed. I took it to another shop and it turns out Brightronics substituted parts that need to be exact values. This caused several problems which led to several parts failings. The recap was not complete either. Areas they said were fine, were not fine. Areas they recapped, were not done properly. Didn't even clean the boards they worked on. Soldering around filth. Overall I see the problem as being perhaps an organized method to their work and adequate experience in such components. High end Hifi used certain values for a very good reason DESIGN. You cannot alter the design. It isn't a toaster, its a well designed complex circuit with a method and reason to the part values. It cost me to repair their mistakes. They also overcharged me for the large power caps by 100% what I can buy them for right now on the web, same brand, same values. I trusted them as professionals. Unfortunately the job was very unprofessional.

They've repaired my PS3, Plasma, receivers, tuners and everything has had no problems. They are perhaps a little slow on service.
