This place is a relaxing sanctuary with a touch of western flare that will make any vacation feel like you're home! The hosts were kind and accommodating. Al showed us around the massive 100 acre property. We saw gorgeous horses, a lovely little calf named Abby, hens that roamed around the property, and not to mention the breathtaking views of the Montana Valley at the top of the hill. We were given fresh free-roaming eggs every morning, which were a delightful treat. We had a kitchen in our cozy spacious cabin to prepare our meals. I enjoyed the eclectic movie collection, which was a nice touch after a long day of activities. We went on an adrenaline snowmobile ride through the property, and Al shared entertaining stories along the way. We went through a silver birch tree forest, then made our way up to the top of a hillside. This was probably the most fun I have had in a pandemic, and I cannot believe it was only a 5-hour drive from Vancouver. We ran out of wine on the second night, and conveniently, a general store was only a short 20-minute drive away. After a fun day in the snow, we got to relax in a steamy private hot tub. The sky was clear and the stars were luminous in the night sky. My only regret was staying two nights, and I wish we would have stayed a few more nights. This place is a hidden gem and the perfect getaway and to disconnect from the stress of city life. I cannot wait to visit this magical place in the spring!

Cabins are immaculate, and covid safe. Hottub was perfect! Alan and Elaine quickly felt like family, and my kids and I were well taken care of! Farm life, activities, fresh milk, eggs and even made cheese! Love this place def. going back!
Hosts were fantastic! The cabin was great, everything we needed. Went on a snowmobile tour with Allan providing the historic details of the area. The cheese making was the best. Taking it up as a hobby! Highly recommend, we will go back for sure!
Absolutely amazing stay with the family and friends! Allan and Elaine the greatest hosts ever making us feel like home! Great fun on the snowmobile tour and great time for the kids while horseback riding! Beautiful place ! Will be back soon!
Was so happy with our vacation here. This is a place where you can truly get away from all the hustel of life and unwind! With limited access to WiFi and Cell service you are forced to truly unwind and disconnect from the digital world. It's amazing what good old Mother Nature can do to your soul. It's legit Ranch living and authentic as it gets. If you need to escape and decompress this is your place. It was like visiting family!
Had such an amazing weekend in Montana Hill. The cabin was super comfy and the activities were brilliant. Couldn’t recommend more! Will definitely look to go again in the summer to experience the ranch in a different season
We had a fabulous and relaxing time. Cabins were clean and comfortable, although we are used to a king size bed so this one seemed small. ATV riding was amazing and addictive. The stories along the way and sites we stopped at were all very interesting. We went in October which was beautiful, and look forward to going back again in the spring. The owners were so helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were happy.
We spent a wonderful week in March at Montana Hill Guest Ranch! Al and Elaine are super hosts and so friendly. The kids went horseback riding and had a great time exploring and visiting the animals. The snow, the horses, the beautiful setting, the cozy cabin, the hot tub...we enjoyed it all and made some great memories! A super getaway in BC, highly recommended!
