Ferry crew DO take Credit & Debit cards, cash and also pre paid tickets bought locally which cut the fare in half. Great stress free short cut. Arrive 20mins early or more. BC Ferry MV Klitsa is rated for 19-22 cars. Busy in the summer months, expect a sailing wait. There are coffee shops, ice cream and easy wondering while you wait.

If you are heading up north island, this is a perfect route to cut through traffic of Victoria. In the peak season; the summer road congestion and on-going road construction, expect to save 1,5 hours of travel time by taking the ferry. Quaint ferry ride that is25 minutes long and spectacular views of water and land.
Very small terminal, but perfect for a shortcut across the bay.
Food is reasonably priced, good service and friendly staff for the pub area.
Love taking this ferry for a shortcut to Mill Bay.
