Went in last night with my teenage daughter who had broken out in an inexplicable rash. Danielle, the Physician's Assistant who treated her was sincere and genuine. Absolutely wonderful! The nurses were also very helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't catch any of their names otherwise I would acknowledge them now. Just grateful for the care my daughter received. Thank you.

I went into the ER complaining of abdominal pain and distention. The staff were all so nice, despite the ER being busy. I was met by a doctor who introduced himself as Tony. He joked with me and made me feel better. They got me down for an ultrasound, and the tech was very sweet. When my results came back, it turned out I had a large ovarian cyst. Tony discreetly told me, and they gave me a private room to process this and even allowed my fiancee in. I met with the gynecological team, consisting of Dr. Bates and a student. They reassured me and gave me all the information I needed. I went back for a CT scan, which was very quick and efficient. Overall my experience there was very good. The staff kept on high spirits, they were sympathetic and kind.

first, they denied my service dog entry when I was visiting a patient. I wanted to be able to visit so I placed him in the car then when I came back they said they had to search my items. I was okay with that. they took my epi pen and my glucagon emergency kit. they humiliated me and reduced me to tears. they had a security guard from a company called paladin security named Nick berating and harassing me . he claimed I did not need those items. he claimed to have extensive medical training. 2 RNs and 2 RPNs stood by allowing this man to berate and harass me. they made no interjections to explain that person with mast cell activation disorder cannot be without an epi pen. I tried to explain myself until he finally reduced me to tears. I wound up having an medical episode - episode of syncope due to his aggressive denigration of me and my family including unkind words directed at my young son and needed an emergency code called. the hospital refuses to apologize and has refused to address any of my issues including the issue with my service dog my service dog performs medical alert and response and alerts to prevent episodes of syncope. they really endangered my safety.

If they like you you'll get through fine. If not good luck. I had to click at least one star.

Went in with chest pains. They sat me in the waiting room for 4 and a half hours. Before anybody else spoke to me. They did however treat someone with a sore foot who came in 2 hours after me. I loath this hospital, it's as if every incompetent person in health care was sent to this hospital. Take the extra time and drive yourself to Hamilton or cambridge.
