This was my regular supermarket until Wynne's 14 minimum wage law made them cut staff and got rid of the older (better paid people??) ....Basics had really top notch customer service; friendly caring staff and fully stocked shelves. These days you rarely see the same people twice and the staff really act like they'd rather be anywhere else. It's sad.... but at least the staff aren't openly hostile like many of the cashiers up the street at Metro.

Enjoyed shopping for my groceries at this location of Food Basics. There is always some good promotions whenever I go there. The sanitization process is given high priority! Keep it up!

I would usually shop here but it’s not safe anymore. There are two cashiers working and at least 10-15 people in each line going down the grocery aisles and customers cannot shop due to all the people with their carts in the app sale and you cannot check out socially distanced. This location is just waiting for by law to come and fine them. They are WAY over capacity. Very disappointed with management. I spoke with the white male manager with dark hair I believe his name was Tony he was very unreceptive. I feel sooo awful for the front line staff dealing with customers fighting each other in the lines. It’s disgusting for him to hide in an office instead of support his staff.
