I find the Executive Members to be very approachable and will listen to concerns in a balanced way with respect to counterviews, usually formulated from past experiences. Further, I have presented concerns to be shared with other BTC executives to process and in return received truthful feedback. Lastly, A great rapport amongst members has always been forefront. In summery and as member of many other Tennis Clubs and this one for 30 years I can say this organization has done its job for the betterment all members; IE; hard work and open tid-bids of potential positive new ideas to improve BTC that are always ongoing behind the scenes. This club is a joke. Full of overweight, old members who think they are all tennis stars. Good for them for “trying” but what an ugly scene.

Today I decided to NOT join the club for 2018. I used to be member for few years mostly for children. The rule of “Adults Only after 7 PM” does not allow me to use the courts for all weekdays. This rule applies for all courts, all days in the week even if there is no scheduled activity. Club executives did not show any interest in removing it. The explanation is: “This rule applies because all the adult programs can only be in the evening as most people work.” Unfortunately I have to change the rating to only one star. There is a hope for more stars in 10 years when my youngest child will be adult and hopefully the board at that time will have different mentality. The juniors learning program is limited. There are only two sessions of 5 hours each for each level during the entire year. Considering a child takes all lessons available, ten hours per year is equivalent with massaging a wooden leg. To have some results the program needs to run continuously between May and October with at least 2-4 hours per week. The rule of “30 minutes waiting” does not apply for juniors. Many times I saw adults kicking kids out of court immediately. I never saw an adult offering a court to children waiting for more than 30 minutes. Another funny rule says: “During lessons two courts will be open for members. If members are waiting, the lessons will use one court only”. I see it as a total disrespect for the lessons and learning. Members have to know that time is allocated for lessons and there is no reason to wait. How can somebody imagine that 2 courts with 8 players can continue the activity on only one court? House league is static. Too static. There nothing changes except the new people coming in and out group D and E.
