Food was good other than over cooking my steak sandwich but it still tasted really good. The fish and chips was awesome, great flavour and good size pieces. The house vinigerette dressing for the garden salad was tasty and the salad was fresh. Our server was pleasant. Food didn't take too long to get although it wasn't terribly busy at the later time that we had dinner.

We were disappointed with our meal. We had a party of six and three of us had a burnt hamburger. There was no offer to replace the burger, no offer to take a bit off the price, or bring a dessert or something else to make up for it. Perhaps because they are closing down next month they aren't worried about customer satisfaction or quality of product. Over the years if we wanted a fabulous steak dinner or a date night dinner this was our go-to spot.
We've eaten here several times, including the prime rib buffet and simple lunch. The food has always been great and the service was friendly. We have been there at least 10 times in the past 3 years with the same positive experience.
An excellent steak house in Penticton. It's nice to see the potato included in the cost of your meal, but as with all steak places not the cheapest mask around. I also found their beer selection to be wanting - only a couple of craft beers available, but their wine list looked pretty good.
Looking for a late night dinner spot so we stopped in at the B.I.G. Kitchen opened late, with a menu offering a variety to choose from. Great food served in an upscale dining area. Had drinks on the patio in front of a wood burning fireplace. Overall a very pleasurable dining experience! Look forward to going back!
Keep going back as the food and service is excellent! Saturday's lobster and steak upgraded to the 8oz. is an excellent dinner to split and share. A nice appetizer makes this a very easy on the wallet, nice night out. Reservations are a must.
Sorry, folks, but while the food was good, there are countless options for good food in Penticton. The service was atrocious. I am not accustomed to a wait of 90 minutes from arrival until the food is in front of me. To compound the issue, the manager offered excuses about staff shortages. Excuse me, but they accepted our reservation for 25 people, and don't have enough staff to handle the business? Why is this my problem when there are many other places nearby? This was my third restaurant in three days. The others were fabulous in all regards. Oh, and to make it even worse, the manager argued with me on the way out, stating that most of the others were happy and would return next year. I guess they don get it....most retirees don't like confrontation, they just won't come back next time.
