I honestly can't say enough about this program. I've been involved as a big brother for 6 years and it's some of the most meaningful time I've spent volunteering and mentoring. You can see the difference you make with your little and BBBS has a great support system if you need it. There are tons of ways to get involved depending on what works for your schedule and preferences so reach out to their team to learn more!

I was matched with a little for almost two years. I had a manic episode that lead me to go on unemployment insurance for a month. During that time, BBBS asked that I not talk/speak to my match for a period of time. Two months went by until BBBS employee summer holidays were over so that I could have a meeting to discuss this matter. I was told I could speak/talk to my match again, but now she doesn't want to from being so upset that the match was put on hold.
