Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarington has had a significant positive impact on our entire community over the last 45 years and I am proud to be involved as a member of this incredible team, overseeing the programs and services provided to over 500 Clarington children each year. Witnessing the transformation of a child into a confident, concerned and motivated young person is a remarkable thing. Ushering them into adulthood, seeing them grow into a successful, responsible member of their community and society at large is even more satisfying. Proudly, it’s something which our Staff, Mentors and Donors help bring about each and every day. I have heard, first hand, from our families about the direct impact our agency has had on their children and the family as a whole. The appreciation which they have for our Caseworkers who support them, the Volunteer Mentors who provide guidance / friendship and agency supporters / donors who help make it all possible, is clearly evident. Congratulations to everyone involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarington and thank you for your commitment to STARTING SOMETHING BIG for the children of our community!

The staff at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarington are the most genuine and positive people I've ever encountered. I've been a Big Sister through the program for almost two years now and our caseworker who matched me with my Little could not have done a better job! The staff are always so willing to help give me advice on how to be the best possible Big Sister to my Little and I can't thank them enough for their contribution to my life. They make such a positive impact in our Clarington Community! Super sized thank you to Darlene, Michelle, Kaiela, Brad and Chantal for all your hard work!
I joined my son in this organization 4 years ago and have never looked back! This was the Best decision of both our lives. Michelle, our case worker set us up with a perfect match and has continued to support us and gone above and beyond her job title! There is not enough to write all the things Michelle has done for us and others! She has a huge heart :) Every staff member has been so kind and this organization has even allowed me to reach out and give back to the community with my son ! He has learned so many life skills in the last 4 years. This Clarington office is a family and we are now part of that and we are grateful everyday for it :) keep up the great work team!

The people are friendly, helpful, caring...they find a match for girlz or boyz: they make sure that all the mentors have police checks etc.
