Not too crowded, the lake gets deep gradually (vs drop-off) which is nice for little kids. The grassy area is steep so may not be a place people will want to set up for a day. I like the stone steps right into the water. Right on a bus route, too! The place you may think is a parking area is actually a no-parking zone so be careful!

This is located only minutes from our home oh, and my wife and I and our family consider ourselves extremely fortunate to live so close to such a beautiful clean Lake which gives us the ability to frequently drop in for an hour take a dip and cool off to jump back into our summertime hot and humid weather we experience here in HRM. One of the best and most convenient places in HRM bar none. A friendly hint is to wear water shoes and or Crocs in the water as the ground under water is slightly Rocky for those with tender feet!
