If you have a child who is interested in martial arts, you won't find a better program in the Grimsby/Beamsville/Lincoln area than Academia BJJ. Head instructor Steve Camara is fantastic with his students. He has a humble attitude, and is incredibly warm and welcoming. In class he keeps the kids working hard but always having fun while challenging them. He teaches details. It is not just a workout to send your child home tired, or a babysitting service. Kids learn technical points of BJJ to build the foundation they will need if they pursue it as they grow up. Students are required to pay attention and be respectful to one another. The kids get to challenge themselves and one another with fun games, that reinforce foundational BJJ positions and movements. I've been involved in martial arts for 20 years and can say it's not often you'll find a kids jiu jitsu program as good as this.

Very welcoming Place! Great energy and environment to be in. They have a top notch Professor. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to have an amazing journey in martial arts.
