Founded in 2011, Be Awesome Now started from a small apartment in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Where is that you ask? Good question. Located on the East Coast of Canada, sits St. Francis Xavier University, ranked among the best universities in Canada, StFX delivers top-notch academics, exceptional hands-on research experiences, and the very best in residential life for undergraduates and post-graduate studies. What started from a passion for art, and later a group of nursing students, Be Awesome slowly evolved into so much more. An organization that now helps others around the world. It’s exclusive taste separates the brand from the competition, using popular free-lance artist such as New York’s own, Jon Contino (Nike, Kellogg's, Coca-Cola, H & M, Chow Hon Lam (aka Flying Mouse) a multi-award winning tee shirt designer from Malaysia (Air Asia, Nike, Lutos) and up and coming artist Mateusz Witczak, of Poland, hand lettering & graphic designer, amongst many more. We use t-shirts as our main source of funds to help others. Be Awesome hopes to open 3 stores in 3 lucky locations around the world in the near future. The limited edition brand is changing the t-shirt world. Gary’s wish is to give ALL proceeds from the t-shirts to developing countries around the world, to promote life long learning in education. The idea is to sells t-shirts that turn into books and computers for young children.
