GET THE STRAP

The Sally\ helps a lot of people who are in need of a place to rest their heads for the night. They provide a meal every day for lunch from 12 - 12:50pm & supper every evening from 5 - 7pm. They have an array of programs the community can access and utilize, ranging from laundry and showers to housing and clothing. The Bail Program helps people who are in a situation with the law, an assurity to get them out on bail and a chance to deal with the matter on the \outs\ instead of locked up, which could pose problems being represented fairly while locked up on the \inside\. Staff for the most part are there to help and have a difficult job at times. Lack of proper training and protocol to deal with such a wide range of different individuals, most with mental health and addiction issues I discovered poses a problem for both the staff and clients. That's just my opinion and point of view. I also found that some of the staff seemed to really not care as much about the clients who use services and also reside there. Find another job because it takes a certain amount of empathy to do it day in and day out. Kudos to the ones that actually genuinely care. You're appreciated.
