My wife and I made appointments with Alice at passport health Barrie for our missions trip to Costa Rica. We were able to book online, which was very easy and quick. We were also given reminder texts a few days before the appointment, which was nice. The actual office is small, however it's clean and organized. Alice was wonderful at explaining all we needed to know, yet reassuring us that all these medications and vaccines were our choice, that nothing was obligatory. We both felt very well informed and comfortable with the appointment overall. Our time there was about 45 minutes. The cost was to be expected, about 830 for the two of us.

Very prompt courteous service with the representative. She went our our file thoroughly and made recommendations regarding all protection we would need for our African trip. I would recommend this clinic to any traveler for vaccination advice.

Alice was very courteous, professional and efficient as she detailed all of the issues associated with my upcoming trip. She provided a detailed printout of each potential health risk and the options available for preventive treatment and she went over it with me thoroughly. She was candid and honest about those which she felt I should be taking action on and those that weren't a huge concern but she left the final decisions up to me. The various options and costs for treatment were discussed and she also included those that were covered by OHIP and that I could go to my own physician to receive. General safety tips were also included in the session and on the printout. I left the office feeling much more prepared for my trip.

I had a meeting with Alice Wenzel (RN) and she was nothing short of wonderful! Thoughtful, professional and well prepared for our meeting. She was also very personable and made the whole experience very comfortable. I Came away with everything I needed in order to be fully covered medically for my international travels. I would highly recommend visiting Passport Health in Barrie before you travel.

Very good place to go if you are travelling and don’t really know what vaccines you want/need. They were very informative about all possible sicknesses/diseases I could possibly contact on my trip, gave me tons of detail about all the vaccines I agreed to receive. Also it was really easy and fast to book my appointment I booked it Friday and got in Monday. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone whos looking for travel advice and vaccines.
