Take your vehicles here with confidence! The customer experience Chris provides is top notch. He takes the time to ensure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision and the the work done is top notch. I had him work on my '91 BMW (M5) which isn't a car a lot of mechanics are knowledgeable on or comfortable working on, but Chris knows his imports and identified several required repairs that he made and a few things to just monitor going forward. The shop is very clean and modern and I've definitely found my new mechanic in Barrie. Jamie R.
I have recently had both of my vehicles serviced at inDrive and the service exceeded expectations both times. Chris is polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. My 1998 Volvo C70 went in for a spring tuneup, and Chris consistently kept me updated on what I had asked to be completed. The digital contactless estimate and payment program inDrive uses lets me see the details of every repair, and I am free to approve or modify the estimate from my phone. Furthermore, when I received the car back I was impressed and very pleasantly surprised that a couple of additional issues that I mentioned offhand were taken care of at no extra cost to me. When the motor fired up, I could immediately tell the difference and the car sounds and feels markedly improved when driving it. I also received honest recommendations on remaining service items I could wait to act on - no upsells. I then took my 2007 Volvo S80 in to have a different set of rims mounted on my existing tires. Even though the rims were not in perfect condition and required some extra work, Chris and Isaak took the time to make sure that all four tires were properly balanced so that my car wouldn't shake or vibrate when I drove it. Both cars received complimentary car washes before the keys were returned to me, and the shop and waiting room are both kept very clean. I highly recommend checking out inDrive.
I am going to recommend this business to everyone I know who is in need of any kind of service to their vehicle especially imports. Like the commercial says on the radio “who’s paying for this place”?? Walking into those big dealerships cost you and arm and leg. Even though inDrive automotive looks and feels like a big dealership just a smaller size. Chris looked after me so well I will be going there for now on. I really felt like I was dealt with honestly and fairly. Also, an added bonus my car was very nicely washed. I really hope this young ambitious couple succeeds and blossoms .
I have had trouble finding a honest a reliable mechanic in barrie but not anymore. Chris is amazing!!! He quoted me hundreds of dollars less then the other shop I had quote me. He took the time to explain the issues, what he did to fix them and how I can avoid them in the future. Plus the shop is so clean and easy to access. I would recommend inDrive to anyone.

Let me first say that I've driven from Toronto to Barrie JUST so that I could have my car fixed here. Chris has been in the business for a long time and knows his stuff back to front. He knew what was wrong with my car just from what I described! I will be taking my car to him every time and his prices are very competitive too :) Thanks again for the great service, fast turn around time and being gentle on my wallet heehee ;)
Excellent and trustworthy service. We required brakes and a few other check ups. The owner was honest and upfront about what was required and what was not. The prices were reasonable. A very good experience- highly recommend this shop.
