She has many connections with people who work in the financing and credit lending institutions and she is able to discuss issues and possible solutions with them directly. You will need to provide your counsellor with a detailed summary of existing debts and assets. Founded on this information, your counsellor will develop a proposal for addressing your debt situation. The solution will be explained thoroughly, and the details will be disclosed so you are fully aware of the timeline, the re -payment schedule and any alternative options that may be available. A decision to proceed or not lies with you. By this stage in my process I was very confident in my counsellor and I was comfortable that the proposal that was being offered made total sense. I became committed to the solution and I am working diligently to uphold my end of the agreed to protocol. I believe that commitment is a critical component to the success of this process.
