The Barnboard Store in Hamilton made a wooden mantle for our fireplace. Although quality of workmanship is a non negotiable to survive in business, you sometimes only know how good a company really is when they need to respond to an issue the customer has. These guys stepped up in a big way and provided a beautiful mantle that transformed out tired and dated fireplace. Highly recommend The Barnboard Store Hamilton.

We had the best experience with Andy creating a custom beam for our new home. He was so patient with me as I picked the stain and style I was looking for. I love that he created samples to help in the decision making process, as I have no experience in this area. It’s right in the centre of our home, so it was important to me that we loved it. We are so happy with it, and feel it truly makes our space feel special!
I was looking for a live edge bar table for our new finished basement project. I contacted Andy at the Barn Board Store and explained to him what we were looking for and he responded quickly with some examples of wood he had in stock. I stopped by the shop and picked out a beautiful piece of spalted maple and with the help of Andy we designed the custom frame. The finished product was built with pride of workmanship and built to last. I would recommend talking to Andy if you are looking for that perfect piece for any room in your house and he will have some great choices of wood and ideas to share.
I've worked with Andy in Hamilton for a number of years and each time has been an amazing experience from both the customer service and finished product stand point. I also find their prices to be very fair. They completed a barnboard feature wall, dining room table and a coffee table/chest. I've received numerous compliments for all three items over the years.
