Thoughtless installation by Barbecues Galore... I recently purchased a home in Oakville which has a Valor brand fireplace, installed December 2019 as per the previous owners by Barbecues Galore. During my home inspection it was recommended that even though newer, to still have it checked out by a professional before using for the season. I had my hvac professional that I have used for many years in many homes come out to take a look, I was told there were many code infraction issues to count with the installation of this unit. My contractor stated he will be reporting the negligence of the Technician, with supporting pictures to the Technical Standards and Safety Authority. Luckily the cost to have my contractor fix the issues was covered by the previous owners and the realty firm. Buyer beware. Needless to say I will never do business with them.

Poor store experience with too few sales reps attending customers (consequently very long wait times). Also very poorly stocked with not too many options available for sale. Everything was on 23 weeks of waiting. I went several times to look at grill options and had the same experience each time. I ended up buying from another store that didn't have any of the above limitations. Got what I wanted Ex-stock with quick service.

What initially brought me to the store was the sign out front thanking people for supporting a local business! What blew me away was the fantastic selection and terrific staff. I don’t know a lot about barbecues, but Jake gave me a crash course in a way that never felt intimidating or pushy. He went above and beyond my expectations by providing a customer service experience that surpassed any I’ve had at a big box store. He helped me select a premium BBQ, some cool accessories, and even arranged to get me a cover from another location in time for me to pick up my barbecue the next day. Phenomenal customer service with knowledgable staff. Excellent selection of high quality products. Bought a portable Weber and modified it with the manager, right in the store(!), to take in my camper and quick connect to the existing propane. Will definitely be returning in spring to buy a new backyard BBQ.
I’ve been a client for many years and have found everything I’ve always needed. The service on equipment and follow through with repairs have been taken care of. I would recommend them
