If you'd rather enjoy wildlife in the comfort of a building, their collection of the local and Canadian wildlife on display looks quite ferocious albeit the taxidermy kind. The showrooms are well lit and made of the finest woodworking.
Interesting place. It’s amazing they even have an animal older than Canada itself. It’s only 4 per adult and it takes like 20’ to see everything. The people working there are very nice. I would recommend the visit and also the nice park by the parking.
A nice place two up
It is different than nowaday museum but one that was built 100 yrs ago. How the exhibits were put together and focus of museum is different than what are done now. Worth to have a visit.
We came in by accident. The door was closed and we thought it was closed. When we went in it blowed our mind. Wildlife from the ancient and now ran into our eyes, very impressive short tour inside the museum. We are getting closer to the Wildlife Course 101 graduation. My first time seeing the badge and wolverines. Cannot imagine how they fight with bears and scare the bears away. Cool stuff. Cheers.
Very nice museum. It has two floors filled with different species of animals. :) We spent around one hour to one hour and a half inside.
Interesting little museum with lots of taxidermed animals, from wolves to bald eagles. Two floors of animals and not much to read aside from labels. Always nice to learn a little history. You may want to see some live animals after this though.
