Great Lakes Divers has an amazing concept of what a modern diver store should look and operate like. Well stocked with good fair prices. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable on a lot of aspects of diving and equipment. The progressive style of education through Unified team Diving (UTD) is outstanding and the future of how learning to dive is to be taught. I would recommend Great Lakes Divers to anyone one looking for a positive learning experience on scuba diving whether locally or aboard.

Great selection of high quality product lines that you cannot find at most dive shops. One on one attention from the very knowledgeable owner. It's definitely worth the drive to Aurora.
By far one of the best Scuba shop based on Learning safe/proper diving "not speedy and unsafe like PADI" Top notch equipments ; not too many selection but what is there is highest in their class (however Todd can catalog order most of the gears) Back shop for air and nitrox refill is the best I have seen in my life ; will recommend to all divers to go and check this newly established store and welcome Todd and his business in Aurora
