Maintenance maintenance maintenance!!! I wanna give this course 3.5 but I can't do half points. My son and I played the Pines and then the Lakes. The course has a beautiful layout. I would play it again just for that but they need to work on the upkeep. As you will see in some of my pictures that dandelions are in abundance in areas! Are you gonna spray?? Secondly, the bunkers are not well maintained with grass growing in them. The course seems run down. I will play 1 more time and if the maintenance has not improved then I will not come back!!

My first time playing at Ariss today. I'm a single figure player and found it to be a great challenge and a nice layout. We started on the willow and finished playing the lakes. I would say there's one thing holding this course back and that's the fairways - if an investment could be made to setup sprinklers on the fairways, this course could be pretty fantastic. Unfortunately it's been hot recently and the Willows course, being slightly uphill from the water, was extremely dry. Fairway grass was long (I'd imagine they're scared to cut it too short in this heat) and it's hard to distinguish the fairways from the rough. Greens were playing well with some tough front pin positions. Lakes course was in better condition seeing as there is more water around. Other than that, a good day out and I shall be returning once we get a few days of rain!

I played Lakes/Willow on a weekday and the value was amazing. The Lakes was in good shape, but I found some of the greens on Willow to be beat up. Overall, it was a great place to play.
