My boyfriend, our friend and I went skating on lake scugog yesterday, once we finished skating I couldn’t help but smell fresh fries & needed to find out where the smell was coming from.. needless to say I found the place it was coming from and we decided to have a bite to eat as it was very quiet in the restaurant. The food was delicious, waitress was great and the service was speedy!! We will definitely be back to visit for a bite to eat soon! If you haven’t ate here, I would definitely try the place out. Menu was big enough that it had something different for everyone. Highly recommend ️

Very comfortable and service is prompt and very polite. Classy with excellent food. Great selection with large pub fare and appetizers. Great view of the lake at tables. Large patio deck. Big Anchor!

Kirsten was the perfect server, cute, polite, happy and obviously acurate. Food was perfect in every way, warm, tasty and well served. All the precautions were taken on these pandemic times. Well done guys we loved it!

Enjoyable location. The food was average. Sat outside. Fairly busy but cleared out quickly as the sun started setting. Staff could have been a little more attentive.

I do not recommend this restaurant. I asked for mustard on three seperate occasions in which the waitress simply shrugged it off as "yeah yeah, the mustard, it's coming" (it never did). One would expect priority to be placed on condiments and such since it is to be eaten with the food. I didn't bother asking for a fourth time as the food was nearly finished by that time. Tables around me were being serviced (water top ups, asking if they needed anything, basic checking up), however, my table was not. After ordering the drinks and food we were approached once, maybe twice in the hour or so we were seated; we had to take the initiative and and ask for service. Hands down the worst service I have had at a restaurant and I've easily been to thousands. The burger was actually good, as were the fish and chips; however, the calamari was the worst I have ever had (I estimate about 100 different calamari dishes tried and none of them below 3 stars, I would give this half of a star if I could). It says fried but they were rubbery and mushy with some standard onions and lettuce it looked like someone cut and mixed up by just throwing them in. The entire dish was soggy, my only guess is that they were baked, definitely not fried. The good news is, after dining here, I realize now and will never take for granted the service I receive in downtown Toronto. As a student of business, the problems at this restaurant are definitely a result from poor governance, a poor tone from the top, tone deafness with respect customer care, and poor workplace culture; telltale factors the owner probably just doesn't care anymore. With regard to covid - 19, tables were poorly cleaned post completion of customer dining, and bathrooms were disgusting. About 50 flies everywhere with no preventative measures put in place as you would see in a restaurant in Toronto.
