Discovered a water stain on the ceiling below our loft bathroom that was renovated 2 years ago. I called David at PHD. He came on time the next morning. He started by investigating all possible sources of the water. He was able to see in behind the shower plumbing using a camera on a snake by making a small hole in the drywall so tiles did not have to be removed to check for any leaks. He then went up in the attic to check the vent pipe and found that the previous contractor had not properly installed the vent pipe for the shower. it was obvious that the vent pipe joint was not properly together and the renovation contractor just left it like that knowing full well that it would cause a problem. Any water from melting snow and condensation was running out the vent pipe attic joint, down inside the wall an onto the ceiling a floor below. David properly installed the vent pipe the same day,..problem solved. David is a great guy, very polite and courteous. Knows what he is doing, and does quality work for a fair price.

We live in 40 year old house , so it’s no surprise Plumging might arise as an issue as it did when our basement drain backed up with a nasty pieces of business thankfully we call phd plumbing great service friendly,informative and thorough I must say mark seemed to genuinely enjoy his work , I think in great part in helping others with a their problem it end up the problem was outside the P-trap Was penetrated by tree roots It need to be replace with PVC pipe here is some pictures before and after the work great team they were here the second day and start working fast and clean , if you find yourself in a similar situation I have no problem recommending this company.
I called PHD plumbing to look at a drainage issue in our kitchen. My problem was not urgent however David made sure to make it a priority and he fixed it. He is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and fair priced. He was thorough in his explanation of my issue as well as explaining further plumbing questions I had in other areas of my home. I will call PHD plumbing for all future plumbing needs. I highly recommend!
PhD Plumbing goes above and beyond for their clients. We have used David and his team multiple times and they have always been super responsive and figure out the problem quickly. We have an older house and he has been able to repair/ replace certain part while also helping completely gut and renovate our master bathroom. Since we are on well water here and the water pressure isn’t amazing David even went out of his way to make sure when he ran the pipes for the new shower he ran them as straight as possible without bends so that we could get the best pressure possible. And it worked! PhD Plumbing is who we will always call.
I called PHD plumbing because of some good experiences from neighbours with their service. I needed a drain inspection for a renovation and required it to be video recorded. Dayvid showed up looking very professional, CLEAN, and with updated equipment which instilled confidence even before the job was started! Dayvid explained the entire process, and through the inspection outlined all potential concerns without being pushy for more business. Definitely lived up to the expectations set my previous reviews!
