I love the village laine; they have high quality yarn and lovely staff who are super knowledgeable. The classes they offered helped me get out of my blanket slump. I took the thrummed mittens and sock classes and both were definitely worth it. They also have a great selection of coffee

I placed an order during the pandemic for a bag and mask, from a fabric that was out of stock, as I found out. No problem. The fabric was ordered, the items made. In the meantime, I ordered yarn. They agreed to hold it and ship it all together. Very nice people to deal with, excellent communication. I will shop there again!

Incredibly knowledgeble staff...always helpful...give generous recommendations...and always friendly. I have completed a few projects based upon their suggestions. There are a wide variety of fibres available in the shop...and lots of inspiration to found.

Great shop, even better people. Their selection of local wool, locally-dyed wool, locally-created accessories and the incredible selection of items from around the world really does remind me of how connected our fiber art community is. Knit nights are welcoming and fun. The sunlight that pours through the large windows and spills on to the couches is excellent for helping me see the finer details of colour options. I think I’m at the shop a few days a week either to grab a delicious coffee, to get inspo for a new project, or just to sit and knit.

What a beautiful store! I ordered online with local pickup and couldn't be happier. I even purchased something that was mis-priced and they honoured it with a smile and very positive attitude! Great trunk shows, and a huge selection of indie dyers. Lots of treasures too, from project bags to pins. Thank you for the lovely stop! Highly recommend!

A nice shop with a generally good supply, but not a big range of prices for casual shoppers, and not a large selection of chunky yarns (plenty of sick yarns though). In addition, was very disappointed that the woman working there was not wearing a face mask nor gloves and was happily touching the product with her bare hands. I also did not see any hand sanitizer available for customers or employees.

Friendly service, bought some hooks and gifts. And a latte with a brownie was delicious
