I have been going to Pita Delight for about 13 years and can say with great confidence that they have the best most authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine in the Durham Region. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. I could eat the Shawarma every day and not feel bad because its healthy food. The staff works hard to make you feel welcome and you can tell making the customer happy is their main priority. i recently discovered that you can buy their homemade Hummus and Garlic sauce. Now I have to go to Pita Delight once a week because my family puts that stuff on everything. Highly recommend this place for a healthy Lunch or Dinner.

Best Shawarma I have ever had . I believe this is a family owned business and they do a great job, I will eat Shawarma occasionaly ( hope I spelt it right) I am definitely coming back here again. Great staff.
First time trying this place. It's local, so I try to support the little guys. I had a chicken shawarma wrap. It was quite tasty. Lots of juicy chicken, wide variety of fresh toppings. And toasted just right. I look forward to trying other items.
I went in and ordered from Pita Delites for the first time yesterday, 2 Shawarma dinner plates and the food was really good. The chicken on the spit looked amazing (fresh) and it came with rice, salad and I had their garlic fries instead of potatoes. There was a good amount of chicken and the dressing on the salad was tasty and they weren't skimpy on the tahini. Next time I'll get extra fries instead of rice. And the pita bread was fresh too. And the staff were really nice. It's my new go to place.
Go-to place for shawarma in Ajax. Meat and vegetables are always fresh & sauces are proper! The friendly staff and their quick yet attentive service makes for such a positive experience as well.
