Ms. Shannon is a wonderfully skilled teacher, fun, engaging, focused, patient and relevant to the needs of our kids. We have a number of friends who go to her for music lessons and we are all in agreement she is great. Her studio is super organized and clean, a fun place to be. One can tell she loves what she does and she does it great. Thank you Ms. Shannon for all those wonderful hours we have been able to spend at your studio and looking forward to many many many more years to come!!!

She adapts very well to the needs of the class when each child has very different characteristics, this holds especially true to my son who suddenly becomes high energy in her class and Ms. Shannon never misses a beat. The structure is very good and it is amazing to see how they simplify notes so that toddlers understand, and if being honest, even parents. We are especially fond of the holiday treats she provides, which are always made with the children's allergies in mind. It really is a great class and she is wonderful and you would be giving your child the gift of learning music, how great is that?!
Exceptional children's music lessons. These are FUN small-group lessons teaching the foundations of music - Shannon does an amazing job of motivating learning and practices with imaginative activities, music parties, and even a mini-toy 'store' the kids can spend their 'practice money' they've earned for practicing hard. My 4-year has already learned where the notes are located on the music-staff!
I'm so happy that my daughter is learning music with Ms. Shannon and MYC - everything about the class is PERFECT! Its amazing the amount she has learned in her first year. Ms. Shannon does the absolute best job keeping the kids focused and entertained at the same time.
