Sad, because it could (and should) be so much better. 5 Guys can be amazing, but they suffer from inconsistency. Today, my fries were clearly reheated/refried. That is 100% bs and should be unacceptable. Bacon cheeseburger was good, but not great.

They put a lot of effort into their burgers and they are very fresh, but the quality of ingredients has always seemed low to me. The meat is dry, the cheese is \plastic\ and the bacon is very thin and black (think cheap breakfast buffet). See pic for example. They charge 2 for cheese and bacon which might be worth it if they were good quality. I like that the burgers are made to order, but I expect them to be much better. The fries are really good and I like the peanuts to snack on while waiting. Service was friendly but slow. I will likely never go to 5 guys again because I've had the same experience (poor ingredients and dry meat) at 3 different locations.
Once ate 3 burgers from here in one sitting. That was on me, shouldn't have done that. There were great burgers though
Five Guys burgers hands down beat any fast food chains burgers (in my opinion:)). You may end up having to pay a little more but its well worth the price. I also love how they fill your to go bag with fries, one order of fries is definitely more than enough to feed 2 people for sure.
If you're in need of a cholesterol fix, this is the place to be. Absolutely yummy!!!
