I can’t say enough great things about the Airdrie Midwives. We were nervous at first as this was our third baby but first pregnancy with a midwife. We felt not only well taken care of but incredibly nurtured as well. Even through Covid. We saw Bayli for the majority of our appointments and we absolutely adored her. Her teammate Christia was at home with us while we laboured and she and Julie delivered our son. They were also both amazing and my delivery could not have gone smoother. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone thinking of having a baby.

I just gave birth to my second child in the care of Airdrie Midwives and I have to say it was wonderful both times. They are a wonderful team of women who provide such a great service! This is not for everyone but if you want an approach where you are part of your own care and making choices this is it. As I was reading some of the bad reviews I think that everyone is entitled to there opinion but if the shoe doesn’t fit try another. This shoe fit like Cinderella for me and I couldn’t be more happy with this choice. I would highly recommend them! I found a kindred spirit in Julie who is amazing at what she does and just in general is a lovely human. Christia who I only met when I went in to labour just made me feel so supported and cared for she had wonderful energy and am so thankful that she was there for me.

Things started out well with the midwives, however as we went along through the pregnancy none of my concerns seemed to be taken seriously. They wanted me to give birth the way they want and what I wanted was not taken into consideration. Then when I asked about being induced at 41 weeks vs 42 weeks due to studies about it being safer for the baby they said they don’t induce until 42 weeks and due to Covid no one will induce sooner which I have verified is incorrect. Then once I asked to be transferred out of their care, they didn’t even ask why they just said all the best. So it validated my choice to get my care by a different provider who will listen to how I want the birth to go.

Just amazing!!! These ladies go above and beyond to help you through your pregnancy and delivery. I loved how nothing was forced on me and I was educated for everything I needed to make a decision on. I am so so so glad I chose them and will choose them again for my next pregnancy.

Highly recommend the amazing midwives Julie and Michelle(Birds team) I had to deliver alone as hubby was looking after our toddler who was not allowed in the hospital and family being unable to travel due to covid restrictions. Michelle was with me through out the night while I was laboring even after handover of care to the obstetricians at Rocky View Hospital even though she didn't have to and Julie was my guiding light through the whole pregnancy she was so well informed, supportive, encouraging. Her support through my breastfeeding journey has been the best as I really struggled with it during my first pregnancy. She paid daily visits watched us feed and guided us. I can not recommend them enough they are exactly what a pregnant woman needs to get the birth that you want. Highly informative and caring. They even arranged for my husband to do a video call while I was birthing so he didn't miss anything, these ladies are passionate and true to what they do. Will definitely be going back to them for my next. Thank you soo much Michelle and Julie we are ever so grateful.

Having appointments at Airdrie Midwives is like visiting with friends, and they have mad clinical skills! Thank you to the whole team for making our family's experience an absolute joy.

The Airdrie Midwives are a wonderful group of competent, caring, patient and supportive women. I learned so much by having them support me through my pregnancy and the birth of my baby. After learning about the options for giving birth I decided that I wanted to try for a home water birth. I followed the recommendations of the midwives to prepare (this is not something you want to go into unprepared!) and had a very successful and memorable birth experience. Special thanks to Julie who birthed my baby. It was an experience I will never forget and a wonderful way to welcome my son into the world.

As a first time mom, I wanted a midwife team. I live north of Airdrie and was very pleased that the Birth Partnership Midwives exist in Airdrie and offer these services for rural women. Christia and Bayli were my midwife team and I could not have been more pleased. I always felt heard and they took so much time to answer my questions. I appreciate having a team that is always available. This was very different than any experience I have had with traditional doctors, I felt that they actually cared for me and respected the decisions that my husband and I had made in regards to our family. They give you all of the most up to date medical information and allow you to make your own decisions. When we decide to have more children I will definitely be back.
