Fun place to hangout with friends! Just book in advance, the go carts are fun.

Their escape room \x-cape\ website says the rooms are open with enhanced security measures. Reservations are available and I reserved a room for 6 people on the 8th of December at 7:30PM, 9 days before on the 29th of November. I get charged 140 and get a confirmation of reservation, so all 6 of us free up our afternoon/evening with the expectation of doing the escape room. Low and behold I get a call today 5 hours before my reservation to tell me that the escape rooms are closed, and that they have been closed since many months now at Action 500. How come I didn't get a call before that? Apparently they have no idea how it's even possible that I reserved. I get told that my only option apparently is to postpone until another unknown date when they reopen their rooms, who even knows if they will reopen? I won't even be available by then, nevermind the rest of the 5 people in my group. This was the only time we had available and there was a reason I booked 8 days in advance. When I ask for a refund, I am told that I must waste my time to deal with customer service in a couple of days for a service that was paid and not delivered, and that it cannot be done now. So all in all, I pay for a service in advance, 6 of us make up time in advance for it, get informed that I won't receive it 5 hours prior to it and am refused a refund on the phone and redirected to waste even more of my time with customer service. So now, to thank me for giving them my business, I have to wait by the phone for a bunch of days for somebody to call me in order for me to reimburse the rest of my group. It says a lot about the company if you ask me. Update: It's been a week and I still haven't gotten any calls to receive the refund. Very good customer service...

We were supposed to go do an escape room. We reserved and paid more than a week in advance. On their website, the only thing that was there were all the health measures taken for this type of activity. There was no warning on the fact that the escape rooms are actually closed... They allowed us to proceed with the payment and never told us that they are all closed. They only decided to call us the day of, 5 HOURS before..... To tell us that it was cancelled. Now, we are trying to get our money back, but again it gets more complicated. They say that they can give us credit or we can just \postpone\ to another date. All we want is our money back...

Me and my friends had a reservation tonight for an X-Cape room, we booked 9 DAYS AGO. Only a few hours before our visit, we get a call from them telling us that the escape rooms are closed since a long time now and we couldn't go to the escape room that we booked, despite that we got a confirmation for our visit. First of all, it's absolutely not clear that the escape rooms are closed. You get on the X-Cape site and the ''Book Now'' button is a lot more obvious than the ''Temporarily close'' message, where you have to scroll down to actually see it. (and by the way, we booked on the French site and it only explains that sanitary measures are in place in the building) Despite this, it should be clear and obvious that you are closed, that way the customer will not be urged to book first since it's basically the only thing we can see. The Closing message should be the FIRST THING THAT WE SEE! It's very misleading. Secondly, why are you taking and accepting reservations when you are supposed to be closed? And why are you calling your clients to tell them that they can't show up to their reservation only a few hours before the visit, when the reservation and the payment was made more than a week ago? And now we can't get a refund unless we call the customer service that takes way too long to answer? If the escape rooms were closed months ago like you said, then we shouldn't even be able to book. It's dishonest and disrespecftul to your clients. Hopefully we get refunded, because honestly, given that I came to your centre many times and had fun during the previous visits, I'm very disappointed with Action500.

This place scammed my friends and me into reserving for an Escape room when their Escape Rooms are CLOSED and have been for quite a while!!! For some reason they cannot explain how we were able to reserve online 9 days in advance and they only thought to call us ON THE DAY OF OUR RESERVATION, 5 hours in advance to let us know our activity was impossible since they were closed. Now they are telling us they cannot refund us for a service that we paid for and was not given to us and they offer to give us a credit for one of their other activities. COVID OR NOT, THIS IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WILL DISCOURAGE EVERYONE I KNOW FROM GOING THERE AGAIN.
