Hired Good Place Moving for a local move and they arrived on time and worked very quickly and efficiently. Finished the job much faster than i had originally expected and i was very pleased with the movers they were very courteous and worked hard! I would definitely use them again!

They were 6 hours late (when we had a deadline to be out of the previous place, so they cost us in that respect), had to work into the night with no light in their truck, told us they would lock up the truck and finish the next morning (demanding payment before they left with our things) but ended up unloading outside the new place around midnight when they thought we wouldn't know about it. My husband went to make another drop off (because there were still things left in the old place)and was shocked when he found them there. He opened the house and tried instructing them to move things in. We labelled every box with the appropriate room, but they just threw things wherever and left the majority outside - they told him they were taking a smoke break, got high with some people on the corner, and took off. They DAMAGED SO MUCH STUFF, ripping off the legs of an antique table, dragging our leather couch on cement, etc.!!! They even shattered the lobby floor to ceiling mirror in the previous place. I have so many more pictures. They offered to refund us 300 if we would shut up about this, but that wouldn't even begin to cover the kind of damage they caused. I ended up having to pay a sitter to watch the children while my husband and I (pregnant at the time) moved our things into the house until 6am so they wouldn't get stolen. We ended up having to leave some furniture and things of less value outside while we sorted and moved things over the next few days.

My experience with Good Place Moving was positive. They booked on short time notice and were accommodating for my timeline. The movers showed up and I gave them a general idea of what was going to storage. They were a good group of guys with a good work ethic. The fees and costs were in line with industry standards. My only feedback is they try to provide a better total billing cost upfront, I was short the amount owed as I had based it on the estimate. The owner was amenable in resolving my payment and understanding of the situation.

Good place moving was super professional and easygoing. The two workers Chris and Daniel made sure to wrap all necessary furniture and carefully package my heavy glass table. They were wonderful to interact with and didn't let me help at all haha. They both wore masks the whole time and made sure to keep distance in this time of covid. Would 100% recommend them to everyone and will use their service again when the time comes.

I contacted Ray to arrange for a move for a family, moving from Abbotsford to Mission. Ray was excellent in making the arrangements for the move, and sent 3 movers - Hammy, Sat and Brar - who were punctual, courteous, professional, and helpful. I was extremely pleased with the moving service they provided. I definitely recommend Good Place Moving Company to anyone looking to move. Job well done! Thank you so much.
